Holiday Inn Club Vacation at Orange Lake Resort, FL: This resort is big and very well maintained. It has everything you would want on a vacation...swimming pools, golf courses, restaurants, good service etc. It is also close to all the major theme parks. We had a spacious 2 bedroom unit with a full kitchen and our own washer and drier. Great for a family vacation. Compared to some of the other places I have been to, this one came out on top.

OK, what do people think about the Samsung Galaxy Note phone? It is the really big one that is like 5.3 inches. Professional reviewers say it is too big and looks ridiculous, but I love having more screen space to read. I switched from iPhone to Galaxy s2 because of the bigger screen and I am glad I did. The bigger the phone, the less I need a tablet in my opinion. What do you think?

Looking at 50 inch TVs. How do others decide between Plasma, LCD, and LED? I am not a huge videophile so the real technical stuff doesn't mean a whole lot to me.

What is the golf course you most want to go to play on vacation that if you bring your wife (who doesn't play golf) and kids (5-10 yrs), they will have a lot of stuff to do and won't give you a hard time?

Grand Hyatt, Singapore: Excellent five-star hotel. Friend went here, and reported that the service, food, and amenities were impeccable. Plus, reservations start at only SG $410 a night! Definitely recommended for serious business travelers.

Aquatica (SeaWorld's Waterpark) in Orlando : My family and I spent the last day of our very active vacation relaxing at Aquatica and it was a great way to end our vacation. You can spend the day at your own pace....relaxing, napping, swimming, going on rides etc. Roa's Rapids, Wahalla Waves, and Omaka Rocka was a blast! It was worth getting the all day meal pass ($17.99 for adult and $10.99 for children ages 3 to 9). You are allowed unlimited all you care to eat buffet at the Banana Beach only. They offered pizza, pulled pork, baked chicken, hot dogs, salads, sides, dessert, soda....If you come early when the park opens, there's no need to reserve loungers ($53) or private cabanas (very expensive). There's plenty of shaded areas with umbrellas. Worth going!

Carry On (Snow Globe): Do not buy snow globes as souvenirs/gifts if you are not planning to check in any baggage. Snow globes, regardless of size or amount of liquid inside, are not permitted on carry on baggage. Be sure to check TSA (Transportation Security Administration) list of prohibited items before you travel. I was not aware of this and had my small snow globe confiscated at security.

Swedish Cottage Marionette Theatre at Central Park: If you have young children and are looking to do something fun in the city, check out the Swedish Cottage MarionetteTheatre in Central Park. My nieces and I saw "Little Miss Muffet's Monster Sitting Service" recently and the kids loved it. We sat in the front row and the kids were really curious as to who was pulling the long strings from above. At the end of the show they gave a brief introduction on how the puppets were maneuvered. I thought they did a great job and the my nieces wanted to come back to see another show. The price is very reasonable ($8 for adults and $5 for children under 12).

Cancun Resort: We highly recommend the Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach in Cancun. www.fiestamericanagrand.com. It has an awesome pool and the beach is beautiful. Breakfasts were excellent, although not included with the stay and expensive; but it was breakfast and lunch for us. The hotel next door has "swim with the dolphins" program. The Fiesta Americana is about an hour away from two great parks that are not to be missed: Xel-Ha and Xcaret. Both provide snorkeling in beautiful waters. Xel-Ha has ziplines, scuba, kids jumped from a cliff into the water (10 meters?). Xcaret has water activities too, plus nature trails, zoo, shows (Mexican rodeo, folkloric dances, etc). Both parks are beautiful and very well planned. We stayed in the Mexican Riviera a few days to be close to the parks. It was a Palace all inclusive called Playacar. Excellent location near a very lively road that has performers at night, shops, restaurants... and very nice, with some entertainment every night (karaoke, magic show, dance
